About the Online Directory

To add your organization to the Delco Resources directory, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Delco Resources website: Navigate to the official Delco Resources directory website at www.delcoresources.org.
  2. Create an account or log in: If you don't already have an account, register here and fill out the necessary information to create one. If you have an account, simply log in using your credentials.
  3. Access the "Add Organization" page: Once logged in, look for the "Add Listing/Resource" option in the main menu or the dashboard below the profile and current listings.  Click Profile in the top right to access. Click on it to proceed.
  4. Fill out the application form: Provide detailed information about your organization, including its name, address, contact information, services offered, and a brief description. Be sure to include any relevant keywords that can help users find your organization in the directory.
  5. Submit the application: Review all the information you've entered to ensure it's accurate and complete. Once satisfied, click on the "Submit" button to send your application for review.
  6. Wait for approval: The Delco Resources team will review your application and verify the information provided. This process may take a few days. You will receive a confirmation email once your organization has been approved and added to the directory.
  7. Update and maintain your listing: After your organization is listed, make sure to regularly update your information to keep it accurate and current. This will help users find the most up-to-date details about your organization.

To edit your listing in the Delco Resources directory, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Delco Resources website: Go to www.delcoresources.com and log in to your account using your credentials.  If you don't have an account, register here.
  2. Access your dashboard: Once logged in, navigate to the dashboard where you can manage your organization’s listing.
  3. Locate your listing: Find the listing you want to edit. There should be an option labeled "My Listings" or similar in your dashboard.
  4. Edit your listing: Click on the "Edit" button next to the listing you want to update. This will take you to an editable version of your listing form.
  5. Update your information: Make the necessary changes to your organization's details, such as name, address, contact information, services offered, or description. Ensure all the information is accurate and up-to-date.
  6. Upload new documents if needed: If there are any new supporting documents or certifications you need to add, upload them in the designated sections.
  7. Save changes: After making all the necessary updates, review your changes to ensure everything is correct. Once satisfied, click on the "Save" button to apply the changes to your listing.
  8. Wait for approval (if applicable): Depending on the directory's policies, your changes may be subject to review by the Delco Resources team. If so, you will receive a confirmation email once your edits have been approved and updated in the directory.

You can contact the organizations directly through the contact information provided in the directory. Typically, this includes phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses. Some entries might also include links to the organization's website or social media profiles for more information.

To claim a listing on the directory, follow these steps:

  1. Search for Your Listing: Use the search bar to find the listing you want to claim.
  2. Click "Claim Listing": Once you've found your listing, check the box labeled "Claim Listing".
  3. Log In and Verify Your Identity: Log in with your user account or register here first. Provide the necessary information to verify your identity and association with the listing.
  4. Submit for Review: After verification, submit your claim for review by our team.
  5. Approval: Once your claim is approved, you'll receive a confirmation email, and you'll be able to manage and update your listing.

The directory is updated regularly to ensure the information remains accurate and up-to-date. Updates typically occur on a quarterly basis, but in some cases, changes may be made more frequently as new information becomes available or organizations update their details.

This feature is currently being updated. Yes, you can search for organizations by location or zip code. The directory includes a search function that allows you to filter results based on your specific area, making it easier to find resources and services near you.

In Person at Community Resource Hub

We offer additional assistance at Chester Education Foundation’s Community Resource Hub. The Hub is located at 419 Ave of the States, Suite 700, Chester, PA 19013. Our friendly staff is available to help you during business hours, which are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Appointments are strongly encouraged to ensure sufficient time to assist clients with their needs. To schedule an appointment, please email bmuhammad@chestereducation.org or call (610)364-1212.

The Community Resource Hub is located in the Chester Education Foundation office at 419 Ave of the States, Suite 700, Chester, PA 19013.

The Community Resource Hub is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with some exceptions for holidays or inclement weather).

While appointments are highly recommended to ensure sufficient time to help each client, they are not required.

The Community Resource Hub offers a wide variety of services to support individuals and families in Delaware County. We can also help to directly connect clients with other Delaware County service providers. Some of those services include:

  1. Employment Assistance: Job search support, resume building, interview preparation, and connections to local employers.
  2. Financial Counseling: Budgeting help, debt management, credit repair, and financial literacy workshops.
  3. Housing Support: Assistance with finding affordable housing, rental assistance programs, and housing counseling.
  4. Health and Wellness: Access to healthcare services, mental health support, fitness programs, and wellness workshops.
  5. Food Assistance: Food pantry services, meal programs, and nutrition education.
  6. Legal Aid: Free or low-cost legal advice, representation, and workshops on various legal topics.
  7. Educational Programs: Adult education classes, tutoring, GED preparation, and access to online learning resources.
  8. Childcare and Family Services: Childcare referrals, parenting classes, and family support programs.
  9. Senior Services: Programs and services tailored to the needs of seniors, including social activities, meal delivery, and healthcare navigation.
  10. Youth Programs: After-school programs, mentoring, and recreational activities for children and teenagers.
  11. Transportation Assistance: Access to transportation services for medical appointments, job interviews, and other essential needs.
  12. Emergency Assistance: Support for individuals facing immediate crises, including emergency financial assistance and resource referrals.

There are no fees for services at the Community Resource Hub. Occasionally, a resource navigator may make a referral to an organization or service provider based on the client’s needs that charges a fee (ex. a professional certification, transportation, etc.).
