The Middletown Free Library is a busy place. With an average of 5 programs per day, there is always something to do. Our conference rooms are frequently used, as are the many spaces in the library. Since its inception in 1956, the MFL has expanded from a small book bus to a full-sized library, carrying books, DVDs, video games, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, board games, tools, and musical instruments. In 2021 the library added a makerspace in our new building, offering our community access to more technology, such as 3D Printers. The library is connecting the the Middletown Community Center, and will soon be home to a playground.
