Named in honor of Ruth Bennett, Ruth Bennett Community Farm is an educational farm and environmental center located on two-acres of land at the Ruth L. Bennett Homes in Chester, PA. We address food insecurity by growing and distributing fresh, nutrient-dense produce and plants to residents of public housing and the greater Chester community. We seek to build youth resilience by providing job training through fulfilling and inspiring work. We empower community members to grow their own food.
