Well Rooted serves families and young adults impacted by the foster system. They partner foster & reunifying families with a support volunteer to offer meals and general support while in a time of transition. This includes a support group held every 3rd Thursday of the month at Grace Church in Wallingford.
We also have a 1 year mentorship program for young adults aging out of the foster system. Those participating in the program will receive assistance with immediate needs, can apply for mental health services, participate in opportunities to experience the arts or classes to learn a new skill or develop a talent and educational or employment based items.
